Description:

As a Sutherland Sales Representative, you will be responsible for
  • Developing and growing customer relationships for technology services
  • Communicating important information to the customers on promotions, new products, etc.
  • Demonstrating professionalism by creating a positive image on behalf of our client
  • Drive to results, meet or exceed quarterly/monthly quotas, and close sales.

Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (College experience and/or PC related courses preferred)
  • 6 months in a telesales and/or customer service related environment, or a minimum of one-year experience in a retail environment as a sales representative
  • Minimum 3 years work experience
  • Experience with Macintosh and/or Windows operating systems
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, multi- task, and prioritize
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM

Responsibilities:

Meet predetermined quotas, maintain attrition goals while managing daily sales operations and represent the client in a professional manner.

  1. Sale of Telecommunications services to support an existing client base.
  2. Database administration. Update current customer information directly into the customer database.
  3. To meet or exceed client requirements for deliverable output (Revenue Generation and attrition prevention) on a daily basis.
  4. Provide value-added services when each customer is contacted.
  5. Augment existing database records in order to provide the latest company and contact information to the team and client, as well as any intelligence on the marketplace that can be captured.
  6. General administrative duties.
  7. Act in a professional manner and maintain the voice of the client.
  8. Ensure highest quality is maintained to meet and/or exceed client specifications.
  9. Meet or exceed minimum requirements for telemarketing process and results measurements (number of dials, active time percentage, etc.) to ensure activity levels are sufficient enough to drive productivity results.
